The update re-enabling Trampler Capturing has been pushed back to next week as the studio continues testing anti-cheat improvements to avoid false-positive bans and other critical issues discovered in the current build.
The planned update that will restore Trampler Capturing has been delayed until next week, according to Hologryph Studio head Maksym.
Trampler Capturing was disabled several weeks ago to allow time for cheat reports and anti-cheat system improvements. The feature is vulnerable to teleportation and no-clip exploits, especially given limited reporting options after expeditions.
Internal testing of the upcoming update has revealed a risk of false-positive bans. The anti-cheat system must account for numerous legitimate movement scenarios: players on foot versus riding Tramplers, ladder climbing, Trampler acceleration, collisions with rocks or other Tramplers, jump trajectories, and network conditions like high ping and packet loss. While most cases have been solved, some edge cases remain unresolved, and other critical issues in the build need fixing.
The studio stated that once Trampler Capturing is reactivated, it will not be disabled again, as the new systems and anti-cheat improvements should prevent the issues that originally led to its removal.
